Philippe Flamand

Philippe Flamand is the Commercial Director at candi solar, a leading solar installer, financier, and operator in Asia and Africa. With nearly 20 years in finance and renewable energy across three continents, Philippe has a background in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, followed by impactful roles in sustainable finance at SUSI Partners and ResponsAbility.

He holds an MSc in Environment and Development from LSE and is a CFA Charterholder. Known for driving innovation and scaling operations, Philippe has been instrumental in establishing candi solar as a significant player in the commercial and industrial solar market across South Africa.
