Phemelo Mitchell

Phemelo Mitchell is the Head of Renewable Energy Business Development at Sasol Energy Business and the outgoing Deputy Chairperson of SAPVIA.

She supports Sasol’s decarbonization efforts and leads the Electric Mobility Strategy. With extensive experience in coal, nuclear, oil, gas, and renewable energy, she has a strong background in project management and engineering.

Prior to Sasol, Phemelo was COO at Sunelex Energy and held key roles at IB Vogt South Africa, Eskom, EDF Renewables South Africa, and Alstom.
