ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Petrus Swanepoel is the Sustainability Manager at Mediclinic Southern Africa. Prior to his appointment in his current position in 2021, he was a Regional Engineer at Mediclinic and responsible for the technical operation at eight Mediclinic hospitals in the Central region.

He is a qualified mechanical engineer and was the founder member of the central branch of the South African Federation for Healthcare Engineers.

He is also a Certified Energy Auditor, Certified Measurement and Verification Professional, Certified Energy Manager, and Certified Water Efficiency Professional.  

Swanepoel explains the Mediclinic experience and then enters into conversation with Renewable Energy and Energy Access Expert, Wim Jonker Klunne.
