CO-LOCATED EVENT:

EIUG – ENERGY INTENSIVE USERS GROUP OF SOUTHERN AFRICA

The partnership between the EIUG and VUKA Group represents a significant step forward in addressing the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions in South Africa’s commercial and industrial sector.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the EIUG, celebrating a quarter-century of dedicated advocacy and representation for energy-intensive industries. Over the past 25 years, the EIUG has played a pivotal role in shaping energy policy, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring energy security and competitive energy pricing for its members. This milestone reflects the organisation’s long-standing commitment to driving innovation, fostering industry collaboration, and influencing regulatory frameworks that support the growth and sustainability of energy-intensive sectors.

During the C&I Solar + Storage Summit, the EIUG will co-locate the EIUG Inaugural Convention, which will directly address the needs of its members, representing over 40% of all energy consumption within South Africa. The EIUG Inaugural Convention will explore the role of renewable energy and storage as critical enablers to the future while acknowledging the power requirements of heavy industrial and commercial businesses. Credible solutions, technology and financial considerations will be unpacked over the course of the two days.
